What methods of payment do you accept for online orders?
Whether you're ordering through our Web site or by telephone, you can pay for your purchases with Visa, MasterCard, the Discover Network or American Express.

When is my payment method charged for my order?
You will be charged when your order is shipped. If multiple shipments are required to fulfill your order, you will be billed as the items are shipped. Shipping fees, as well as taxes, if applicable, are charged on a pro-rated basis as items are shipped.

Can I pay for my online order with a debit card or check card?
Yes. However, if you pay for your purchase using a bankcard that is associated with your checking account, DO NOT click the "Submit Order" button more than once. Doing so will place funds in your account on reserve, making them unavailable to you until they are released by your financial institution. Depending on your bank's policies, these held funds could by unavailable to you for up to 30 days. If you encounter technical difficulty while placing your order, please contact us immediately by calling 1-800-438-2431. If you use a debit card for any order, Scandia Home™ will not be liable for any overdraft fees you may incur.

Can I pay for my online order by check?
We are sorry, but at this time we are unable to accept checks as payment for online or telephone orders.

Does Scandia Home™ guarantee that my payment information will be secure?
Scandia Home™ is committed to taking every possible step toward preventing credit card fraud. By entering your card identification number, you help us to do so:

  • Visa, MasterCard and Discover Network: The three-digit identification number is located on the signature strip on the back of the card.
  • American Express: The four-digit identification number is located on the front of the card, above and to the right of your card number.

We understand that not everyone is comfortable ordering online with a credit card, but rest assured that we employ high industry standards to create a secure environment for our Web shoppers. You can confidently use your credit card to place your order with us online.

We are so confident in the security or our website that we guarantee the safety of your personal information when you use your credit or debit card to place an order on our secure site. If you find unauthorized charges on your credit or debit card as a result of shopping on, you will not pay a penny. Here is how it works:

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for any fraudulent charges in excess of $50.00. If your bank does charge you the $50.00 fee, and the unauthorized charges resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at, we will reimburse you the full amount of the liability, up to $50.00. You must first notify your card provider in the manner they require if you believe unauthorized charges have appeared on your account.

Does Scandia Home™ sell Gift Certificates?
