By transforming classic cotton matelassé into a modern basketweave design, Portia offers timeless craftsmanship with understated sophistication.  The dimensional texture creates a subtly tactile surface that offers a 100% cotton that is a light and airy top layer. Crafted by skilled artisans in Italy--renowned for their impeccable jacquard weaving--each pure white coverlet is finished with a 1.5-inch tailored flange for a polished look. 

* Please note, Portia is slightly oversized to account for shrinkage during the first wash. After pre-washing, you can expect a perfect fit.

Pre-wash before use to allow for necessary shrinkage
Machine-wash cold, delicate cycle. No bleach
Line dry or tumble dry low; warm iron, if needed
Dry clean if you prefer a flatter look as matelassé fabric becomes more dimensional after washing and drying
